Historic Congregation B’nai Abraham is pleased to announce the concert of Two Brothers, Two Worlds.
Chazan Shmuly Goldman and Choni G, two brothers, close and loving, raised in the same Chassidic home. Both of them singers, inspired and impassioned.
But there are no rules that govern the heart: one takes the path of Jewish
liturgical music, steeped in a cloistered world of ancient melodies.
The other? The pop stages of Africa, Europe, and America, leaving the brothers and their music literally and figuratively a world away from each other.
But they will join each other, for the first time, in performance at Historic Congregation B’nai Abraham. And we’ll see not only a reunion of brothers, but living proof that the power of what unites us is far greater than that which keeps us apart.
